Form Analytics

FoxForm tracks key performance metrics for each form to help you understand how respondents are engaging with your content.

Where to Find Analytics

Analytics are visible within the Responses view for each form. Navigate there via the Forms list → three-dot menu → View responses, or through the Results tab in the builder.

At the top of the responses page you'll see:

  • The form name and status (Published / Draft)
  • The total response count (e.g., "22 responses")

Available Metrics

The responses panel currently shows:

  • Total responses — the number of complete submissions received
  • Submission timestamps — when each response was submitted (date and time)
  • Per-question answers — each field's responses displayed in table columns

Views vs. Completed Responses

A view occurs when someone opens your form URL and sees the Welcome screen. A completed response is only counted when the respondent finishes and submits the form.

The gap between views and completed responses tells you your conversion rate. For example, if your form received 100 views but only 22 completions, your conversion rate is 22%.

Note: A dedicated analytics dashboard showing views, conversion rate trends, and time-based filters is coming soon. The current panel focuses on response data.

Tips for Improving Conversion

  • Shorten your form. Every additional question reduces completion rates. Remove any question that is not strictly necessary.
  • Make the Welcome screen compelling. A clear, benefit-focused title dramatically improves the number of people who click Start.
  • Use Required fields sparingly. Making every field required increases drop-off. Only mark fields as required when they are essential.
  • Check your End screen. An empty or generic "Thank you" message leaves people without a next step. Add a CTA, a video, or a link to increase engagement after submission.
  • Monitor your response count. If responses suddenly drop, check whether your form is still published and whether your sharing link is correct.
