# Managing your team

BatZap is built for teams. Invite members, set their roles, and share the workload by assigning conversations. This article covers team management.

Open **Settings → Members** ("Team Members") to manage your team.

## Invite a team member

1. Click **"Invite Member"**.
2. Enter the person's name and **email address**.
3. Choose a **role**: **Member** or **Admin**.
4. Send the invite.

The person appears in the list with a **"Pending Invite"** badge until they accept.

## Roles

- **Owner**: the account owner, with full control. This role cannot be changed.
- **Admin**: can manage team members and settings.
- **Member**: works the Inbox without managing the team.

## Manage members

In the team list you can change a member's role, resend a pending invite, or remove a member. Your own row is marked with **"(you)"**, and you cannot remove yourself.

The page also shows an overview of your team, including total and active members and how many seats you have available.

## Assign conversations

Share the workload by assigning conversations to specific people. In any conversation, use the **"Assigned to"** menu in the chat header to pick a teammate.

Use the **"Assigned to me"** filter in the Inbox to focus on your own conversations. See *Using the Inbox*.

💡 Your plan sets how many members you can have. The Standard Plan includes **unlimited users**. Check **Billing** for your current plan.
