Plans and Billing
This article explains how to manage your subscription, understand your current plan, update your payment method, and handle billing in FoxForm.
Accessing the Billing & Plans Section
- Click Settings in the left sidebar.
- Click Billing & Plans in the settings sub-menu.
Here you will find your current plan details, usage statistics, payment methods, and billing history.
Viewing Your Current Plan and Usage
The Current Plan card at the top of the Billing & Plans page shows:
- Your active plan name and billing cycle (monthly or annual)
- The date of your next invoice
- Monthly Cost — the amount charged each billing cycle
- Responses — the number of form responses used this month vs. your plan limit
- Team Members — the number of seats used vs. the total included in your plan
A summary banner below the stats describes the key benefits of your active plan.
For up-to-date information on available plans, limits, and pricing, visit the Plans page within the app.
How to Upgrade or Downgrade Your Plan
- Go to Settings → Billing & Plans.
- Click the Change Plan button in the top-right corner of the Current Plan card.
- Review the available plans and select the one that fits your needs.
- Confirm the change to apply it immediately or at the start of the next billing cycle.
What Happens When You Reach Your Plan Limits
- Responses: If your form receives more responses than your monthly plan limit, overage charges apply automatically per additional block of responses. The exact overage rate is shown in your plan's benefit summary.
- Team Members: If your plan includes a seat limit, you will not be able to add more members beyond that limit until you upgrade to a higher plan.
FoxForm does not silently block your forms when you go over limits — overage is handled via automatic charges to keep your forms running.
Updating Your Payment Method
- Go to Settings → Billing & Plans.
- Scroll down to the Payment Methods section.
- To add a new card, click + Add Card and enter your card details.
- To update an existing card, click the edit (pencil) icon on the card you want to modify.
- To remove a card, click the delete (trash) icon on that card.
Your primary payment method is the card that will be charged on each billing cycle.
Viewing Billing History and Downloading Invoices
- Scroll to the Billing History section at the bottom of the Billing & Plans page.
- You will see a list of past payments with the date, plan name, amount, and status.
- Click the download icon next to any invoice to download it as a PDF.
How to Cancel Your Subscription
To cancel your subscription, click Change Plan and select the free plan (if available), or contact FoxForm support to request cancellation. After cancellation, your workspace will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
