# Deactivating a Service

* Reactivating restores previous configuration

---

# Service Status

**Active (Green):**
Service is running and accessible. Resources can be created and managed.

**Inactive (Gray):**
Service is disabled. No charges incurred. Resources are paused but not deleted.

---

# Billing Impact

* **Active services:** Charged based on usage
* **Inactive services:** No charges
* Deactivating a service stops billing immediately
* Reactivating resumes normal billing

---

# Pay-As-You-Go Model

All MamuteCloud services operate on a **Pay-As-You-Go** model:

* You can activate any service at no upfront cost
* You are **only charged based on actual usage**
* Keeping a service active does **not** generate charges by itself
* Billing is generated daily according to your consumption

---

# Best Practices

* Only activate services you need to minimize complexity
* Deactivate unused services to prevent accidental charges
* Review active services monthly
* Keep critical services (like DNS) always active if in use
