Account and notification settings

This article covers your personal profile, your organization details, language, and notification sounds.

Profile and organization

Go to Settings → Profile & Organization ("Account Settings").

Personal Information: update your first and last name, job title, and phone number, then click "Save". Your email address is shown but cannot be changed. You can also upload a profile picture.

Organization Details: update your organization name, VAT number, and address. Required fields are marked with an asterisk.

Language

Use the menu in the top right corner (your name and avatar) to open "Language" and switch the dashboard language. The change applies immediately.

Log out

Open the same top-right menu and click "Log Out" to end your session.

Notification sounds

Go to Settings → Notifications to control the sounds the Inbox plays for incoming messages.

Global settings:

• Turn "Enable notification sound" on or off. When off, the Inbox plays no sound.
• Set a default sound, plus separate defaults for contacts and groups. Available sounds include Classic, Chime, Pop, Bell, Beep, and Marimba.
• Use the preview button to hear a sound.

Per chat:

• Search for any conversation and give it its own sound, or choose "Use default".
• Mute a conversation to stop its notifications, and unmute it later.

⚠️ Notification sounds need a browser that supports the Web Audio API. On an unsupported browser, the controls are disabled.
