Managing your team

BatZap is built for teams. Invite members, set their roles, and share the workload by assigning conversations. This article covers team management.

Open Settings → Members ("Team Members") to manage your team.

Invite a team member

  1. Click "Invite Member".
  2. Enter the person's name and email address.
  3. Choose a role: Member or Admin.
  4. Send the invite.

The person appears in the list with a "Pending Invite" badge until they accept.

Roles

  • Owner: the account owner, with full control. This role cannot be changed.
  • Admin: can manage team members and settings.
  • Member: works the Inbox without managing the team.

Manage members

In the team list you can change a member's role, resend a pending invite, or remove a member. Your own row is marked with "(you)", and you cannot remove yourself.

The page also shows an overview of your team, including total and active members and how many seats you have available.

Assign conversations

Share the workload by assigning conversations to specific people. In any conversation, use the "Assigned to" menu in the chat header to pick a teammate.

Use the "Assigned to me" filter in the Inbox to focus on your own conversations. See Using the Inbox.

💡 Your plan sets how many members you can have. The Standard Plan includes unlimited users. Check Billing for your current plan.
