Creating your account and signing in

This article covers how to create your BatZap account, confirm your email, sign in, and reset your password.

New accounts start on a 14-day free trial of the Standard Plan.

Create your account

1. On the sign up screen ("Start your 14-day free trial"), enter your Organization Name and Email.
2. Accept the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
3. Click "Create account".
4. You can also use "Sign up with Google" instead.

Confirm your email

After signing up, we send a confirmation code to your email.

1. On the "Check your email" screen, type the verification code you received.
2. Click "Verify Account".
3. If the code did not arrive, click "Resend Code".

Set your password

After confirming, create a password on the "Create Your Password" screen.

Your password must have at least 8 characters, with one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and one special character. The screen shows each requirement turning green as you meet it.

Sign in

1. On the "Welcome back!" screen, enter your email and password.
2. Optionally check "Remember me".
3. Click "Sign In".

Reset your password

1. Click "Forgot your password?" on the sign in screen.
2. Enter your email and click "Send Recovery Link".
3. Enter the confirmation code from your email, then set and confirm a new password.
4. Click "Reset Password". You will be redirected to sign in.

Common issues

⚠️ "An account with this email already exists": sign in instead, or reset your password.
⚠️ "Incorrect email or password": check your credentials, or use the password reset flow.
⚠️ "Invalid code": request a new code with "Resend Code". Codes expire after a while.
