How to connect Crisp to BatZap

Connect your Crisp account to BatZap so your WhatsApp conversations show up in your Crisp inbox and operator replies in Crisp reach the customer's WhatsApp.


The process takes about 5 minutes, plus a few minutes of automatic syncing.


What this integration does


When you connect, you allow the integration to:


✅ Mirror your WhatsApp conversations into the chosen inbox inside Crisp.
✅ Forward operator replies from Crisp back to the customer's WhatsApp.
✅ Sync the last 7 days of conversation history into the Crisp inbox.


You can disconnect at any time from the integrations page in BatZap.


Before you start


Make sure you have:


✅ An active BatZap account with WhatsApp connected (online instance in the panel).
✅ A Crisp account with admin access to the workspace.
✅ At least one inbox created in Crisp. The integration only lists inboxes that already exist. If needed, create one first in Crisp → Settings → Inboxes.
✅ You are signed in to the BatZap dashboard in this same browser. The connection identifies your organization from the active session.


Step by step


Step 1: open the Plugins section in Crisp


In your Crisp dashboard, open the "Plugins" section from the left sidebar.


Step 2: install and open the BatZap plugin


  1. In the Crisp plugin marketplace, search for "BatZap".
  2. Click to install or activate the plugin on your website.
  3. Open the plugin settings. You will be redirected automatically to the BatZap dashboard.


⚠️ If you see "No active organization", sign in to the BatZap dashboard in this browser and re-open the plugin from inside Crisp.


Step 3: authorize the connection


You will see the "Connect Crisp to your BatZap organization" screen, showing:


Your organization name and your email.
The list of permissions the integration will have.
The Crisp Website ID that will be linked.


Confirm the organization shown is the correct one and click "Allow".


If you prefer not to continue, click "Cancel". Nothing will be changed in your account.


Step 4: pick the Crisp inbox


On the "Pick a Crisp inbox" screen:


  1. Select from the menu which inbox should receive the WhatsApp conversations.
  2. Click "Confirm and connect".


⚠️ If you see "No inboxes found in this Crisp workspace", create an inbox in Crisp (Settings → Inboxes) and click "Try again".


Step 5: wait for the sync


After you confirm:


The "Connecting…" screen links your Crisp workspace to BatZap in a few seconds.
Then the "Syncing your conversations…" screen shows a progress bar while your most recent WhatsApp conversations are pushed into Crisp.


The sync takes a few minutes. You can close the tab whenever you want, it keeps running in the background.


Done


When you see "Crisp connected!", the integration is active:


WhatsApp conversations start showing up automatically in the chosen inbox inside Crisp.
Operator replies sent from Crisp are delivered to the customer's WhatsApp.
