Using and managing the Crisp integration

Once Crisp is connected to BatZap, your WhatsApp conversations show up in your Crisp inbox. This article covers how to use the integration day to day, check its status, and disconnect.

If you haven't connected yet, see the article "How to connect Crisp to BatZap".

Day-to-day use

Messages received on WhatsApp show up as conversations in your Crisp inbox, with the contact's name and photo.

To reply, just type normally in the conversation inside Crisp. The message is delivered to the customer's WhatsApp.

Private notes in Crisp (note mode) are not sent to the customer. Use them freely for internal team notes.

WhatsApp groups: messages identify who sent them within the group.

Checking the connection status

In the BatZap dashboard, open Integrations → Crisp (/integrations/crisp).

When the integration is active, the page shows the Connected badge and these fields:

  • Connected Account: linked Crisp account.
  • Website ID: ID of the connected Crisp website.
  • Connected Since: date and time of the connection.

When there is no connection, the badge shows Disconnected and the page displays the steps to connect.

How to disconnect

  1. Open Integrations → Crisp in the BatZap dashboard.
  2. In the "Disconnect Crisp" section, click "Disconnect Account".
  3. Confirm the action in the dialog that appears.

⚠️ Disconnecting removes the integration and its associated data. WhatsApp conversations stop being mirrored into Crisp.

To reactivate, just run the connection flow again from the Crisp plugin.
